Nearly 50 industry leaders representing PCB, EMS, OEM and supply companies joined IPC in Brussels today to urge EU policy makers on the need to invest in EU electronics manufacturing.

These talks are crucial as we strive to enhance European leadership in sectors such as Defense, Aerospace, Healthcare and Communications.

IPC recognizes that dependence on third countries and a lack of strategic prioritization are causing Europe to lag in the global race. In a time of increasing geopolitical tensions, ensuring Europe’s industrial and regional security is paramount.

We hope that the next EU mandate will prioritize the electronics manufacturing sector to secure Europe's strategic autonomy and competitiveness. IPC looks forward to collaborating with EU institutions to reduce strategic dependencies and enhance European resilience.
